Any form of protest that challenges the status quo will occasionally come into conflict of some sort with the powers that be. Sometimes this will be very minor, occasionally more major. If this happens to you, the legal team is your place of contact. Bindmans solicitors are working with us. They may be able to help you, or your statement may help some one else.
We are also working to challenge the perceived strategy of the police in general, in that they should be facilitating protest, not hindering it.
It is important that everyone who is affected by their contact with the police:
- Reads bindmans advice sheets
- Fills in their brief questionaire,
- complains to the IPCC (at some point),
- and to their MP.
